Guidelines to Paid Coaching Experience hours

To meet the coaching experience requirement, you can count any client coaching hours completed after you begin your coaching education or training. We encourage you to register as soon as you are ready and start building your paid coaching business experience hours through:

• Direct Coaching for Payment: You receive payment (or barter, such as reciprocal coaching or coaching in exchange for goods or services) for coaching a client.
• Internal Coaching: Coaching that is part of your job responsibilities at work.
• Third-Party Coaching: Coaching you provide as part of an arrangement with an organization.

What do I get access to within the CBA?

When enrolled in the Coaching Business Accelerator (CBA) you will have access to:

• Reciprocal coaching platform where the support team will match you with other ICE community members
• A barter system whereby you provide coaching to a less experienced coach while they benefit from working on a set business start-up goal and you receive an equivalent value within the ICE community program initiative
• ICE on occasion will introduce opportunities whereby you can book direct coaching for payment or an exchange of services with ICE partner companies or collaborations.

Logging hours from the start ensures you’re all set when it’s time to apply. A simple spreadsheet is all that is required and easy to stay on top of. It keeps everything organized and stress-free, so you can focus on what really matters: coaching!
